How campers.ie earns revenue

campers.ie is a free editorial resource. To sustain the site, we earn revenue through the following channels:

Affiliate links — rental bookings

When you click through to a rental operator from campers.ie and complete a booking, we may earn a per-booking commission from that operator. Commission rates are typically 3–6% of the booking value, paid by the operator — not added to your cost. Affiliate relationships exist (or are being established) with some of the operators listed on this site.

Affiliate commission does not affect operator placement or editorial verdict. We list every major Irish operator regardless of whether we have an affiliate arrangement with them. Operators without affiliate programmes are listed on the same basis as those with programmes. Our editorial verdicts are based on documented operator positioning and independent assessment — not commission rates.

Paid listings

In future phases, campers.ie may offer paid listing options for operators (enhanced profile pages, featured placement in certain contexts). Any paid placement will be clearly tagged as "Sponsored" or "Paid listing" wherever it appears. Paid listings will not affect the editorial comparison table or verdicts in the main operator index.

Affiliate links — buying guides and content

Buying guides and content pages may contain affiliate links to relevant products or services (insurance providers, campervan accessories, parts suppliers). Affiliate links in content are marked with (affiliate link) notation. Commissions from content links do not influence editorial recommendations.

What we don't do

  • We do not accept payment for editorial content, operator rankings, or guide recommendations.
  • We do not allow operators to review or amend editorial content — including verdicts — before publication.
  • We do not publish fabricated operator details, invented depot locations, or unverified pricing claims.
  • We do not use fake review aggregation. If we cite review data, it comes from verifiable sources (Google, TrustPilot, etc.).
