We're building a classified listings index for private campervan, motorhome and modern VW conversion sales in Ireland. Listings during the pre-launch window (now through Q3 2026) are free in exchange for letting us refine the format. Use the form below to submit your van — we'll publish it within 48 hours.
Why a new Irish classifieds index?
Buying a used campervan in Ireland today means trawling DoneDeal, Facebook Marketplace, Adverts.ie, and the operator forecourts — each with its own quirks, listing standards, and reliability of contact. There's no single Irish-specific index that focuses just on campervans, motorhomes, and conversions, with the photo standards, VRT/import context, and seller verification a buyer actually wants.
That's the gap. campers.ie/for-sale/ is a dedicated Irish campervan classified index — built for buyers who want to compare like-for-like, and for sellers who want to reach a serious audience without paying generic-marketplace pricing.
How listings work
- Listing duration: 60 days, automatically renewable while van is unsold.
- Photos: Minimum 6 photos — interior, exterior, driver's-eye, kitchen, sleeping arrangement, mileage shot. We'll guide you through this.
- Required fields: Make, model, year, mileage, NCT/MOT status, VRT status if imported, asking price, seller name, county, contact email or phone (your choice).
- Buyer routing: Buyer enquiries go direct to you (we don't middleman the conversation). We track enquiry volume only.
- Pricing post-launch: Free during pre-launch. €30 per listing post-launch, or €80 for a featured listing with homepage placement and a buying-guide cross-link.
What we'll publish
- Modern VW T5 / T6 / T6.1 / T7 conversions.
- Coachbuilt motorhomes — Fiat Ducato / Iveco / Mercedes Sprinter platforms.
- Self-builds with documented conversion work.
- Imports with VRT paperwork in order (or in progress — declare honestly).
- Project vans — declare clearly that buyers will need to finish work.
Classic and retro listings belong on our sister site retrocamper.ie — the dedicated Irish classic-VW + retro-conversion publication. T2 Bay Window, T3 Wedge, T4, Bedford CF, Hymer classics, and any 80s/90s factory conversion will reach the right audience there. Listings work the same way; email enquiries@retrocamper.ie if your van fits the classic side of the line.
What we'll decline
Listings with no photos, no asking price, or vague mechanical claims. Dealer-stock floods (we want to give private sellers a level playing field at launch). Vans without a clear NCT/MOT or import status disclosure.
List your van
Email enquiries@campers.ie with the subject line "For Sale Listing" and include the following:
- Make / model / year / mileage.
- Asking price and county.
- 6 photos (interior, exterior, driver's view, kitchen, bed, mileage).
- NCT/MOT expiry and VRT/import status.
- Your preferred contact method (email or phone for buyer enquiries).
- One paragraph on what you've done to the van (service history, conversion work, recent repairs).
We'll review and respond within 48 hours. Pre-launch listings stay live until the van sells or the pre-launch window closes (Q3 2026), whichever comes first.
